Buhari Should defeat me not with AK 47 - Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu has accused President Buhari of being a dictator - The IPOB leader said people must be allowed to provide their views - He rejected the comparison of IPOB with Boko Haram Nnamdi Kanu who is the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has criticised President Muhammadu Buhari for allegedly comparing the group to Boko Haram. 

Kanu spoke in Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia where he was responding to the call by the president to security operatives to clamp down on Boko Haram and secessionist groups. 

He said the people must not be “railroaded into succumbing to intimidation”, insisting that use of force would not solve the country’s problem. Nnamdi Kanu said Buhari should know that there are better ways to handle issues that concern the growth and development of the country instead of resorting to threat or intimidation of the citizenry into believing in his course. 

Kanu said: “In this debate for freedom, everybody has to be heard. Buhari should defeat me with the superiority of his argument not AK 47.
