Amir Khan’s estranged wife has told pals she plans to raise the kid without his support while divorce proceedings get underway.

Amir Khan's cheating allegations looked like a knockout blow for estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom,but she seems to have as much fight in her as he has.

I can reveal that the embattled businesswoman has decided she does not want his support raising their second child.

Weeks after he announced the divorce on Twitter, she posted online: “Blessed with baby No2 in my tummy.”

And in a clear sign she is not on the ropes she has told friends she intends to raise the child independently of Amir, saying: “I don’t need his help.”

A source said: “Faryal’s announcement came as a shock to everyone involved but she doesn’t want anything more from Amir now.

“They’re back on speaking terms, trying to keep everything ­civilised for the sake of their daughter and extended families, but the relationship is finished.

“She has told him she will happily bring up their new child without his support, and the divorce is going ahead.
“She’s a strong woman — and the pregnancy isn’t going to change that.”

Earlier this month Amir stunned Faryal, his wife of four years, with the divorce tweet and accused her of having an affair with fellow boxer ANTHONY JOSHUA.

The claims were quickly knocked down by Anthony, who says he had never even met Faryal, mother of Amir’s three-year-old daughter Lamaisah, and he posted an amusing clip of SHAGGY singing It Wasn’t Me.
But behind the scenes it is understood he was furious at being hauled into the couple’s domestic mess, and insisted that Amir make a formal apology for the “misunderstanding”.

And this weekend it emerged that serial cheat Amir has been sending lewd messages to university graduate Rose John in a bid to chat her up as the ­pregnancy was announced.
