Monkeypox inview

Despite the outbreak of the Monkeypox disease in Bayelsa, the state government says it has taken all necessary measures to contain its spread.

At a News Conference in Yenagoa the state capital, Commissioner For Health Ebitimitula Etebu and his Information and Orientation counterpart Daniel Iworiso-Markson further allayed the fears of the people with an assurance that the virus will be effectively contained.

As a preventive and protective measure, the Commissioners also presented Hand Sanitizers to the Rapid Response Team of the state Ministry of Health.
